Google’s upcoming foldable smartphone is expected to be cheaper than the competition

Rumors about the planned launch of the first foldable smartphone from Google are increasingly hitting the web – this time we are dealing with information about the planned price of the device, which is expected to be cheaper than the competing Samsung model.

Information about the planned debut of a foldable smartphone released by Google is nothing new – the first prototypes of the hardware, codenamed Pixel Notepad, appeared back in 2019.

According to unofficial reports, the Pixel Notepad should be a noticeably cheaper device than the competition – two independent sources confirmed that Google HQ is thinking around $1400.

That means the manufacturer’s proposed price will be about $400 below the amount you’d have to pay for Samsung’s Galaxy Fold 3 model. This could be a very important trump card when deciding whether to buy Google’s foldable smartphone.

When will the Pixel Notepad hit the market? Many say it will be later this year – probably talking about the fall timeframe.
