NHHTC MIT Enterprise Forum

New Hampshire High Tech Council Announces
the “The Skydive Pitch”
and New Venue For MIT Enterprise Forums

New NHHTC/MIT Enterprise Forum Event Format Enhances
Networking and Learning Opportunities

The first in a series of three MIT Enterprise Forums will debut a new format on October 19th, at FIRST Place, in Manchester. Here’s how it works... Two companies in the audience will be selected to make a one minute appeal to panelists and the audience on why their business will succeed in the marketplace.

Forum MIT marketing chair Tim Platt explains, "Entrepreneurial success depends on inspiring your employees, investors and customers with a simple and compelling message. With this new segment, we will challenge Skydive presenters to make their case, quickly and boldly. This gives entrepreneurs the chance to test drive their message, get informal feedback on their ideas and make great contacts in the process.” The Forum expects the new Skydive segment to attract more company executives to the Forum, encourage creative business thinking and enhance the networking opportunities at these popular events.

The Biosignetics management team is seeking advice on how to secure growth capital to accelerate their business.

Company: HireAbility.com, located in Salem, NH, offers products and services for one of the fastest growing business needs - how to efficiently obtain human capital. They develop software tools and custom solutions for the recruiting industry, corporate HR departments and its own rapidly growing network of agents. The company’s products offer the benefits of lower cost, faster recruitment and closure, and access to a better-qualified pool of applicants. Hireability’s management is seeking advice from our panelists on how to expand its sales, support and technical teams as well as its marketing efforts.

A New Segment

Beginning October 19, the Forum will add a new segment to the program, “The Skydive Pitch.” Organizers of the Forum will select up to two companies to make a one minute appeal to panelists and the audience on why their business will succeed in the marketplace. The Forum is also accepting names of companies to participate in “The Skydive Pitch” segment. Please contact Hollis McGuire, Program Chair at 603-897-8588 if you would like to be considered.

“This is a great opportunity for high technology business entrepreneurs to make valuable contacts and to learn from the experience of other New Hampshire business professionals including venture capitalists”, said Fred Kocher, President of the NHHTC and host of the popular Business New Hampshire TV show on WMUR. “For more than 15 years the New Hampshire High Tech Council has offered the forum. These events have proven to be valuable and stimulating for both presenting companies and attendees alike”.
