The New Hampshire High Technology Council has named five finalists for this year's 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Ceremony and Banquet scheduled for June 5, 2006 at the Center of NH - Radisson Hotel in Manchester. For eighteen years, this prestigious annual award has gone to individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of high technology business in New Hampshire.

Keynote speaker for this year's award banquet is Helen Greiner, Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of iRobot Corp. iRobot is delivering robots into the industrial, consumer and military markets. She was named one of Ernst and Young New England Entrepreneurs of the Year for 2003. She has also been honored as a Technology Review Magazine "Innovator for the Next Century." To date, more than 1.5 million iRobot Roomba Vacuuming Robots have been sold worldwide and over 300 iRobot PackBot Tactical Mobile Robots are helping to protect our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.

This year's finalists include:

The Entrepreneur of the year for 2006 will be announced at the June 5th EOY ceremony and banquet.
